Is your product ready for a Saudi shipment?

Answer 15 yes/no questions and paste your label claims. In three minutes you see the gaps in your label and paperwork, measured against what Saudi Arabia's SFDA itself publishes.

What this is. A screening aid. It can say gaps found, cannot verify or no gaps found in what you told us. It never says "compliant" and it is not a clearance, a filing service or advice. Everything you type stays in your browser.

For each line choose Yes, No or Not sure.

1. The product is notified in SFDA's GHAD system before it is imported.

2. You have clear label artwork for the inner pack, outer pack and any leaflet (JPEG, JPG, PNG or PDF), plus a picture suitable for publication.

3. Every size, colour or variant has its own unique barcode on the label.

4. The product name appears in both Arabic and English on the pack, with the brand name.

5. The name and address of the manufacturer or distributor appear on the pack, in Arabic and/or English.

6. A date is shown. Under 30 months of shelf life: expiry date (month and year, or day, month and year). 30 months or more: an expiry date, or the period-after-opening symbol with the months. The symbol is not needed for high-alcohol products such as perfume, sealed aerosols or single-use products.

7. The full ingredient list is on the pack in INCI names.

8. The pack also shows: function (unless obvious), storage conditions, batch number or production date, directions and warnings, country of manufacture, and net content. Function, warnings and storage are in both Arabic and English.

9. The label does not say that the product is notified with SFDA.

10. The label, leaflet and any advertising make no medical claims. (Use the claim check below as well.)

11. You have every active and inactive ingredient with its exact concentration and role, ready to enter in GHAD.

12. Each ingredient has been checked against SFDA's published prohibited and restricted substance lists.

13. What you enter in GHAD will match the actual product and its label exactly.

14. A certificate of conformity is planned for each shipment, with an accredited lab test report.

15. A Saudi importer with a valid commercial registration is lined up.

The claim check looks only for the four kinds of disallowed claim SFDA names as examples, plus generic medical wording. It is not exhaustive.
